Modified Mendel. We again return to Mendel snapdragon experiment from Mindscape 1. Suppose that in the crossbreeding of second-generation pink flowers, the probability that a pink snapdragon passes on the white gene is 1/3 and the probability it passes on the red gene is 2/3. What would be the possible outcomes for the third-generation offspring if two second-generation flowers bred? What would be the probabilities of the various colors? What color would you expect to see?
