Chapter ST.2, Problem 7RQ
Summary Introduction
To determine: Why the circular RNAs are referred to as molecular sponges. The meaning of it and to find what they soak.
Introduction: Ribonucleic acid (RNA) is a genetic material found in the nucleus of the cell. It is similar to deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in its basic structure and differs in a number of strands. DNAs are double-stranded while RNAs are single-stranded. In spite of single-stranded, RNA adopts many shapes like clover leaf shape, hairpin bend shape, and circular shape.
