This ninth edition of a text/CD-ROM/workbook package on the theory and applications of engineering mechanics offers a new art program with color photographs illustrating principles of mechanics in action and enhanced color diagrams, and contains new examples and problems, including some that provide practice in drawing free-body diagrams. Problem sets have been revised so that instructors can select both design and analysis problems having a range of difficulty. Computer problems and design projects are also included. A new appendix has been added that gives practice in solving problems for the Fundamentals in Engineering Examination.
