Classification of Law Enforcement Technology:
Patrol
Over the course of law enforcement history there have been many innovations to help law
enforcement to be able to do their job more efficiently and to better protect them while doing it. Some of these innovations include the use of body armor, service weapon holsters with better retention, the implementation of tasers, body worn patrol cameras and many others. A specific tool from this classification that has a been innovated to help law enforcement is body armor. The body armor worn by law enforcement can either be a soft armor made from ballistic resistant materials or can have hard armor plates. In the case of the soft armor the material is usually in layers and each layer will absorb and distribute the fore of the impact from a bullet. As for the hard armor plates they could come in a few different materials which include metal plates, ceramic, or compressed laminate sheets. When a hard armor is struck with a bullet it could capture the bullet or it could break the bullet up completely but just like the soft armor it will also distribute the force of the impact from the bullet. Regardless of the type of armor plates you have some armor also will have a stab plate which is meant to protect from stabbing weapons like knives.
I think that my tool is best supported by the police goal of reducing fear and enhancing personal security. With the innovation of body armor over its use in the law enforcement field I think that it plays an extremely vital role in the safety and personal security of law enforcement officers. according to the National Institute of Justice “They found that among the 637 officers
who were shot in the torso, those who wore body armor were 76 percent less likely to be killed than those who did not wear armor” (Greene, 2018)
. Having less of a chance to be fatally wounded while you are doing your job can put officers’ minds at a little bit of an ease and since this innovation has come this far who know what could be next for it.

Systems Analysis
Consider the following dialogue between a systems professional, Joe Pugh, and a manager of a department targeted for a new information system, Lars Meyer: Pugh: The way to go about the analysis is to first examine the old system, such as reviewing key documents and observing the workers perform their tasks. Then we can determine which aspects are working well and which should be preserved. Meyer: We have been through these types of projects before and what always ends up happening is that we do not get the new system we are promised; we get a modified version of the old system. Pugh: Well, I can assure you that will not happen this time. We just want a thorough understanding of what is working well and what is not. Meyer: I would feel much more comfortable if we first started with a list of our requirements. We should spend some time up-front determining exactly what we want the system to do for my department. Then you systems people can come in and determine what…

Suppose you decide (as did Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg) to start a company. Your product is a software platform that integrates a wide range of media devices, including laptop computers, desktop computers, digital video recorders, and cell phones. Your initial client base is the student body at your university. Once you have established your company and set up procedures for operating it, you plan to expand to other colleges in the area and eventually to go nationwide. At some point, hopefully sooner rather than later, you plan to go public with an IPO and then to buy a yacht and take off for the South Pacific to indulge in your passion for underwater photography. With these plans in mind, you need to answer for yourself, and potential investors, the following questions:
1. Briefly describe the use of stock options in a compensation plan. What are some potential problems with stock options as a form of compensation?
2. Briefly explain how regulatory agencies and legal…

In today's globalized and technologically inundated world, machines are gradually and systematically taking
over most business functions that used to be carried out by humans. Machine learning-enabled programs have
been designed which are able to learn, grow, and change by themselves when exposed to new data. They achieve
this by utilizing algorithms which iteratively learn from data.
E-commerce platforms today feature a simplistic recommendation engine ("also bought with this item"), with
Amazon and Walmart using advanced retail analytics and product recommendations on a regular basis. Social
media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, also use machine learning for personalized content
delivery, online advertising, and bidding. The ads that pop up in your Facebook feed are delivered using an ML
algorithm that analyzes your preferences to match them with a marketer's ad delivery settings.
In spite of the above, fine attributes of Machine learning-enabled programs, some…
