The student spent thirty minutes before starting the exam to rearrange their testing
environment, an action that can be taken to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future is to set
up their environment prior to clicking start exam on the assessment page. To do this they can
visit the WGU Knowledge Center’s link on Being Successful with Online Proctoring. This site
can tell them everything they need to do before starting the assessment. It gives them instructions
on preparation, the launching process, environment, rules, and technical setup [ CITATION
kth23 \l 1033 ].
For the performance assessment, the student does not understand why they need to meet
with their instructor before resubmitting the assessment. If they refer to the student handbook’s
policy on Performance Assessment Scoring Policy and Rubrics, it clearly states at the end that
before attempting revisions, students should discuss the evaluation results with their program
mentor, refer to their course of study, and/or consult the instructor [ CITATION kth231 \l 1033 ].
Meeting with the instructor will help the student to discuss the content of the course and to go
over the assessment rubric to ensure that the student understands what is expected.
Good morning,
I am contacting you to discuss both my objective assessment and my performance
assessment. I am concerned that I did not pass either assessment and would like to discuss what I
need to do going forward to be able to retake these assessments and pass them. I had difficulty
getting started with my objective assessment and feel like I spent too much time rearranging my
testing area to feel comfortable with the time I had left to complete it. As for the performance
assessment, I feel like I can pass it if I review the content fully, but I am overwhelmed with how
much of it there is and would like to discuss some strategies with you to get through it and be
able to understand it.
When I took the objective assessment, my proctor spent half an hour directing me to
rearrange my exam space. Before I take the objective assessment again, I will review the policy
about online proctoring to ensure that my environment is set up appropriately. In retrospect,
looking at my performance assessment I now realize that I did not completely review the course
content. Before resubmitting the performance assessment, I would like to discuss some study
strategies with you about the course content so that I do not feel so overwhelmed when
reviewing it, as well as discuss the assessment rubric so that I know what is expected for my next
attempt.
I have set a couple of goals for myself before attempting to redo both assessments and
would like to discuss those with you to help me complete both assessments on time. For the
objective assessment my goal is to schedule my test far enough out so that I will have enough
time to study the material and be well rested before retaking the exam, which will help to reduce
my stress and anxiety. My goal for the performance assessment is to arrange my schedule so that
I have an acceptable amount of time for studying and reviewing the course content so that I do
not feel so overwhelmed with how much of it there is.

When a company has post-acquisition expenditures related to Property, Plant, and Equipment it must determine whether the amount
should be expensed as an ordinary repair or capitalized as a major repair, addition, or betterment. This requires considering the nature
of the expenditure and the use of judgment.
Many companies use a threshold amount. Any expenditure below the threshold is expensed. Items over the threshold are examined
and a decision is made about whether to expense or capitalize the item. This approach is justified by both materiality and considering
costs and benefits. For example, a company with $94 million in net property, plant, and equipment and $250 million of operating
expenses would not consider a $100 repair as material. Plus, if the company had to spend thousands of dollars examining every repair
expenditure, the costs of doing the analysis could easily outweigh the benefits.

How to Prevent Cheating
(1) Teachers should take steps to prevent students from cheating on exams. (2) To begin
with, teachers should stop reusing old tests. (3) Even a test that has been used once is soon
known on the student grapevine. (4) Students will check with their friends to find out, for
example, what was on Dr. Thompson's biology final last term. (5) They may even manage to
turn up a copy of the test itself, "accidentally" not turned in by a former student of Dr.
Thompson's. (6) Teachers should also take some common sense precautions at test time. (7)
They should make students separate themselves--by at least one seat-during an exam, and
they should watch the class closely. (8) The best place for the teacher to sit is in the rear of
the room, so that a student is never sure if the teacher is looking at him or her. (9) Last
of all, teachers must make it clear to students that there will be stiff penalties for cheating.

SUBJECT: Launch of Product XYZ
Due to extensive customer feedback, and the results of current testing, I wanted to inform you that Product XYZ will be delayed from its original launch date of November 15th, until Q1 2019.
We are confident that time for additional testing will serve to make XYZ more effective in fighting security breaches that customers are facing. For those customers that you believe will now consider a competitor's product, the marketing department is developing a promotional offering, which sales reps can share with their customers to help reduce those who will now go to our competitors.
As disappointing as this news may be, we are confident in our employees, and know the additional time will serve this company well by creating a more…

The value of a first-year community pharmacy residency program (CPRP) at an independent pharmacy was estimated based on time allocation for resident responsibilities. Methods: Predefined time allocation categories for the pharmacy resident were used to consistently classify and document time completing residency activities. Benefit-to-cost ratio was determined by tabulating total costs and total benefits of the residency program. A retrospective-prospective comparison of overall change in revenue, operating expense, and prescription volume was performed between the preresident time period (July 2012 to June 2013) and the postresident time period (July 2013 to June 2014). This comparison accounted for resident activities that did not directly generate revenue. Results: Time allocations for the resident out of 2,221…
