Question 1:
I think Trader Joe’s should consider opening three different Instagram accounts so that they can advertise their business to different audiences. The main three types of audiences Trader
Joe’s seems to attract to their business fall into the following categories, single, couple, and small
families. With that in mind, they can make an Instagram account that focuses just on single, couple, or small family customers. As they have three different ones for them, they can provide specific benefits that will be best suited for their customers’ type of lifestyles. For example, couples might want to go on dates
so you might provide date night food options. This could be simple to romantic meal combo options that would make the date great. For their small family audience, they may have a kid's special night. Or possibly for the singles to have quick whole food options for busy workers. Most likely most of those single customers are involved in school or work and need some stress taken off of them. Whatever it is for those different audiences they will need those different Instagram accounts to connect with those specific audiences positively and effectively.
Question 2:
First off, I think the small family audiences Instagram brand should be a major focus on kid-friendly whole foods. The single Instagram brand should be focused on reducing stress with quick and easy meals as they may be really into school or work. Lastly, the couple's Instagram brand should focus on date night whole foods. So, these could be recipes for those brands that they show on their Instagram page using whole foods that are sold at Trader Joe’s.
Question 3:
On social media Trader Joe’s should make their personality relate to their audience but all
around be dependable, youthful, trustworthy, and cheerful. With these personality traits, they will
be able to relate to their audience and gain more growth. With their couple's audience, they should make it more confident, dependable, and cheerful. Couples should be able to depend on the whole food they shop for holding the foods they say they hold. This will make them want to continue to go to your Whole Foods store when they need a nice date night meal for their night out. The small family audience will be much more willing if they know that it is a cheerful environment making it welcoming to children. Being cheerful doesn’t mean that you aren’t trusted but rather that you are trusted. This is especially true when it comes to families because they want their children to grow up in a happy environment where they will learn and grow. Goes the same way with a grocery store. If you are providing something healthy for a child, you want them to be happy about what they are eating.
Lastly, the single audience can be branded on dependability, trust, and probably more sophistication. These single customers are probably just right out of being a teen and want to grow up. With this being said Trader Joe’s will want to appear that they are for grown-ups too, meaning they need to look sophisticated. This will make those consumers want to buy whole foods from them.
