Module 03 Assignment
- Clintegrity Encoder and Coding Clinic
Overview:
Before attempting the
Clintegrity Encoder and Coding Clinic Worksheet
, you will need to access the
Clintegrity Encoder and know how to take a screenshot. Within the assignment instructions
there is
information on how to take a screenshot.
In Coding Foundations, you learned how to access
and use the Clintegrity Encoder; however, the password may have changed, so your instructor
will provide you with the current username and password.
The Clintegrity Encoder is accessed
through a website link and not through the VLab like the 3M Encoder.
Access the Clintegrity Encoder using the link below:
http://quantim.ahima.org:8080/topaz/main.do
Then log into the encoder using the
User ID and Password provided by your instructor.
Often
this is provided via the Course Announcement or a Course Message.
Once you have accessed the Clintegrity Encoder and are prepared to do a screenshot, go to Part
1 of this worksheet and follow the directions for the three screenshots needed.
The last step h
will take you to the Coding Clinic so you can complete Part 2 by taking the 3 screenshots.
Part 1 - Use Clintegrity Encoder
Instructions
: Use the Clintegrity Encoder and do the following:
1. On the Clintegrity Encoder home page that comes up with access to the encoder:
a
. Choose the “Coding”
and open a new page.
b.
Take a screenshot and paste it in the space below this sentence.

3. In the Clintegrity Encoder, from the screen in the prior question, do the following:
a. Locate in the reference box the
letter “D” for the ICD 10 Coding Clinic
.
Then choose
“View All Issues”.
b.
Take a screenshot and paste it in the space below “c”.
c.
Now you are ready to proceed to doing Part 2 of the worksheet.
Part 2 - Use Coding Clinic in Clintegrity Encoder
Instructions
: Use Coding Clinic in Clintegrity Encoder and do the following:
5. In Coding Clinic, open the list for
4
th
Quarter of 2019
.
a. In the “Articles” column, click the link for “Multiple Drug Ingestion” and read the
information provided for coding that diagnosis. Copy and paste or Screenshot it in the
box provided below.
b. In your Code Book’s Tabular List, look-up the code(s) from the information above and, in
the box provided below:
1) List the Code Book page number of where you found the code(s).
2) Type-in any instructional notes for the code(s). If there are no instructional notes,
type-in “N/A.”

You are assigned as the head of the engineering team to work on selecting the right-sized blower that will go on your new line of hybrid vehicles. The fan circulates the warm air on the inside of the windshield to stop condensation of water vapor and allow for maximum visibility during wintertime (see images). You have been provided with some info. and are asked to pick from the bottom table, the right model number(s) that will satisfy the requirement. Your car is equipped with a fan blower setting that allow you to choose between speeds 0, 1,2 and 3. Variation of the convection heat transfer coefficient is dependent upon multiple factors, including the size and the blower configuration. You can only use the following parameters:

A Team of Engineers asked for an internal combustion engine to use it in a designed car. Your role is to describe the operation sequence of different types of available engines, explain their mechanical efficiency, and deliver a detailed technical report to show your approach in solving and discussing the following tasks and issues.
You must follow the following steps to help the team:
STEP 1
Describe the operational sequence of four-stroke spark ignition and four-stroke compression ignition engines with the aid of sketches by constructing simple sketch representing the operation and plotting the P-V diagrams for each process during the cycle to show the following:
The input and output heat and net output work
The expansion and compression strokes
The air-fuel mixture intake and exhaust gasses
The spark plug when it is in the active mode
The complete cycle of ideal Otto and Diesel cycles that shows the input and output heat and net output work.

You are spending the summer as an assistant learning how to navigate on a large ship carrying freight across Lake Erie. One day, you and your ship are to travel across the lake a distance of 200 km traveling due north from yourorigin port to your destination port. Just as you leave your origin port, the navigation electronics go down. The captain continues sailing, claiming he can depend on his years of experience on the water as a guide. The engineers work on the navigation system while the ship continues to sail, and winds and waves push it off course. Eventually, enough of the navigation system comes back up to tell you your location. The system tells you that your current position is 50.0 km north of the origin port and 25.0 km east of the port. The captain is a little embarrassed that his ship is sofar off course and barks an order to you to tell him immediately what heading he should set from your current position to the destination port. Give him an appropriate heading angle.
