My findings when analyzing the number of returns by state, show that Massachusetts has the highest number of returns. The second and third states with the highest number of returns are Arkansas and Oregon. In Massachusetts the SKU that is being returned the most in the ENT-48-10F with 972 returns. In
Arkansas, the ADV-24-10C is being returned (844) and in Oregon the BAS-08-1 C is being returned at a high rate of 840 returns. The reason for these SKU’s being returned have a reason of Defective.
SELECT Collaborators.state AS STATE, COUNT(*) AS PRODUCT_SALES_NUMBER FROM Collaborators INNER JOIN Orders ON Collaborators.CollaboratorID = Orders.CollaboratorID GROUP BY STATE ORDER BY PRODUCT_SALES_NUMBER DESC LIMIT 15;
I have also gathered data on the percentages of returns. The states that have the highest percentage numbers are Massachusetts (2.6%), Arkansas (2.2%), and Oregon (2.2%). The product SKU that has the highest return rate is BAS-48-1 C (22%). The second and third SKU’s that have a high return percentage are ENT-48-40F (16%), and ENT-48-10F (11%). The return frequency of SKU BAS-48-1 C is 8282. SKU’S ENT-48-40F AND ENT-48-10F have the second and third highest return frequency rate with 6118 and 4287.

The National Electronic Injury Surveillance System tracks injuries reported from
hospital admissions across the United States (Consumer Product Safety Commission
2018). For the data in 2017, we extracted all incidences of hand injuries that
referenced punching a wall. There were 1843 such cases. The surveillance system also
records some of the properties of the patients, including gender. Of all cases where a
person was admitted to a hospital for injuries from punching a wall, 1352 were
recorded as male and 491 were recorded as female.
a. Do an appropriate hypothesis test to ask whether the proportion of males among
wall-punchers is 50%.

A study conducted at the University of Denver investigated whether babies take longer to learn to crawl
in cold months, when they are often bundled in clothes that restrict their movement, than in warmer
months. Infants born during the study year were split into twelve groups, one for each birth month. We
consider the average crawling age of babies in each group against the average temperature when the
babies are six months old (that's when babies often begin trying to crawl). Temperature is measured in
degrees Fahrenheit and age is measured in weeks.

Since muscle tension in the head region has been associated with tension headaches, a researcher reasoned that if the muscle tension could be changed, perhaps the headaches would also be changed. The researcher designed an experiment in which nine subjects with tension headaches participated. The subjects kept daily logs of the number of headaches they experienced during a 2-week baseline period. Then the researcher trained them to change their muscle tension in the head region, using a biofeedback device. For this experiment, the biofeedback device was connected to a muscle in the forehead region. The device indicated the subject's amount of tension in the muscle to which it was attached and helped them achieve low tension levels. After 6 weeks of training, during which the subjects became successful at maintaining low muscle tension, they again kept a 2-week log of the number of headaches experienced. The following are the number of headaches recorded during each 2-week period.…
