I intend to pursue an MBA in Finance. The said concentration will equip me with the relevant skills I require to succeed as a finance director in a reputable organization my long-term career goal. I am a MBA student taking different courses to develop a great understanding of the various aspects that businesses entails. I want to be well –versed in a variety of other areas that will make me confident in my career.

Marketing plays the most important role for the success of a business. In this chapter, the business’ marketing objectives are laid out together with the plans or actions that will be needed to achieve these objectives. Furthermore, this chapter includes the profile of the respondents which aided the researchers to create this part of the feasibility study.

I understand that doing MBA is not an easy job; it requires lot of hard work. It is not simply learning theory and writing it in exam paper. In fact, it is a field that prepares you for the practical world of business. Therefore, I will have to do a lot more than simple learning; which will be going to different organizations for interviews, preparing thesis, designing marketing campaigns, doing internships and a lot more.

Every company depends on an efficient marketing program to fulfill customers' needs. Marketing is a process of finding out what the customer wants and meeting those requirements. Within the company, the marketing group has to consider customer values and customer satisfaction before considering offering a product. Marketing is part of our everyday world, and can be perceived everywhere and every time. At any time, everyone has been exposed to different kinds of marketing or advertising depending upon personal necessities such as T.V commercials, radio, internet, etc.

It gained significant traction after its inception, however was later criticized for its lack of practical relevance. Marketing concept believes that for a company to achieve organizational goals, it depends on determining the needs and wants of the target market. It takes an outside-in approach. Marketers practising this concept recognise that customers are always the first priority of the organization and they aim on complete customer satisfaction. This requires an integrated marketing effort, that is, team work between different departments within the organization. For instance, team work between the marketing team and the academic team of UCSI University. The marketing team will be in-charge of the promotion of the academic programmes available in UCSI University while the academic team will have to ensure and maintain the quality of the programmes and courses offered.

Many diverse experiences have helped to shape my professional marketing career. These positions range from promoting Broadway shows, to marketing at the global children's entertainment brand Pokémon, and managing a girl’s brand called My Princess Academy. While my professional experiences have provided me with a strong real world foundation, I feel that in order to pursue my goal of managing a major entertainment brand, I require the knowledge and training afforded by an MBA program. I am confident that my professional experiences coupled with an MBA will help me achieve a vibrant career in marketing management.
