Iteration 1: Orientation to Inspiration Space The orientation session will be conducted for the interns at Inspiration Space for a period of two days. During this phase, the interns will be introduced to the employees of Inspiration Space and the library that are associated with different departments in the Wilmington Public Library. The company’s website was also reviewed during this meeting. A formal document was handed to the interns for providing the detailed information related to the company’s manuals and policies. All the interns and new employees were requested to submit all their documents to the Human Resource Department for verifications. The new hire forms were provided and completed by all the new people. Being an intern, I was not familiar with the current working environment of the company. Inspiration Space Coordinator had provided full support to me in getting acquainted with the day to day operations of the organization. The hierarchy, on-going projects and existing clients of the organization were also discussed during this time. The company’s association with the state libraries and centralized data system was also explained by the supervisor (C. Shaw, personal communication, September 17, 2015). The internship objectives and responsibilities were discussed among the interns and supervisor to avoid ambiguity. I was introduced to the data management team. The project’s objectives and various issues in the current system were discussed. The roles of the team members in the project were also specified. During this period, I had met various employees from different departments and communicated with them to understand and study the existing data management system. Participation in any selected planning and program activities in order to help with observations will be required of all staff. (Yuen, Terao, 2003) There will be interviews required of staff and program participants, in addition to biannual questionnaires, in order to document fulfillment of the program procedures and any other concerns. The staff training, workshops, and conferences will also be documented through records of involvement and minutes of deliberations. Encounter forms and attendance sheets that will document participation and amount of service will be available and used for each participant. (Yuen, Terao, 2003)
I started my internship with the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce in the first week of June. Beginning my internship I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had ideas about what I was going to be doing, but wasn’t sure. Whether the task was big or small I knew I wanted to contribute.

At the beginning of this internship, I did not know what to expect. It was the first time I was going into a professional work place and a professional setting every day. Therefore, my expectations were based on my assumptions of an internship that I have observed through the media and the opinions of other students.
I have identified this Agency as a site that will integrate my education as a Health Services Manager. The site supervisor will help me in developing different plans that will coordinate with various emergency personnel at the state, local, and municipal levels, and make sure emergency contingencies are covered. My manager was very pleased with results. We decided to move ahead to run it in production environment. This project will move data in various spreadsheets into Peoplesoft system, which will save at least an hour daily time of HR Team. Instead of going through different files, HR Team can see any employee’s training data in system and also an employees can see training he completed in Peoplesoft self service. Moving forward to the end of the internship, this week I also presented my final work to my manager and Business Analyst.
Although many analyst internship positions are individually focused, I found my time at Plateau Asset Management to be more team focused. Therefore, I learned many lessons regarding team work and communication.

Today was the first day of internship. I attended a new hire training secession about 8 hours and heard about the history of Novogradac & Company LLP, met the partners of the firm, completed all new hire paperwork and turned in to HR. In addition, I learned about ProSystem Engagement which company has been using for audit and tax preparation software. At the end of the day, all intern received a tour of office and met their own team members.
