Most employees at Washburn are either musicians who love and play music. Some are not musicians, but they value the craft and design of each guitar. This improves the quality of Washburn instruments because they all have a passion for what they are creating. Every guitar is crafted with a passion only a musician can feel. This passion nurtures their pride into selling top of the line products. The desire to create a quality instrument and the love for music is the motivation. Quoted from the video, Gil Vasques the production manager stated, “Some are motivated by music and music alone, others are motivated by the simplicity of creating the instrument, and some are motivated by coolness factor.” Every employee at Washburn takes their

Brian just recently got promoted to Operations Manager at FedEx Express after being with the company for only 3 years, which is quite incredible
I am the Director of Human Resources of Lehigh Hanson. In order to ensure the organization remains successful we have to make sure we hire the right people for the organization. In this review we will outline a job interview process and document the methods that we must use to select the right person for the available positions. We will determine at least two employment laws that we must consider in the process questions and examine the key ramifications of the organization’s lack of enforcement of said laws. The organization must predict three issues that we may encounter in building relationships with each type of worker.

I am a shift leader for Walgreens Inc. I work at one of the financially worst stores in the district. The possibility of the store being close is even greater because the store cannot meet sale goals. Naturally, the heaviest burden is places on the team members. For example, team members losing hours, causing team members to lose sales, more responsibility placed on team members, and less chances for team members to recharge and relax. Eventually, these changes in the workplace dynamic could cause severe reductions in team members’ morale, in an otherwise normally positive and happy staff. Therefore, in this paper, I will provide ground breaking research that explains the issues of low staff morale and propose ideas for coping
Over the course of the last ten weeks, I have had the opportunity to serve as an intern security guard at Elk Ridge Ranch in Shoals, Indiana. Elk Ridge Ranch is a unique place that sits just 12 miles from the town of French Lick, Indiana and 10.2 miles from the town of Shoals, Indiana. The ranch is owned by Dave Marshall and Wendy Henry-Marshall of Shoals, Indiana. Elk Ridge Ranch is one of the most beautiful places you will see if you visit the rolling hills of Martin County, Indiana. The owners operate a detox and fitness business that is associated with the ranch. The detox and fitness guests come from all over the United States. Along with the detox and fitness business, there are also several rental guests over the course of the year. These renters also come from all over the United States and rent rooms in the facilities on the ranch. Most of the room rentals are families that rent rooms for vacation, or corporate groups that are visiting the nearby French Lick area, but occasionally there are private wedding parties and fraternity groups that rent the entire property on weekends.
Job specifications “identify the eligibility requirements or qualifications needed to perform a job” (Baack, et al., 2014, Ch. 4.4). In other words, job specification is a sort of sketch of an ideal candidate. Job specification highlights required levels of education, experience, physical and technical abilities, as well as desired social skills. Job specification is used to screen job application of candidates, and job description will be of help during interviews. Candidates should be educated about the job description, it is also
I am very interested in a career field in Human Resources. For this paper, I interviewed Lillian Mannino who is a Human Resource and Personnel Manager at the UC San Diego Graduate School of Global Policy and Strategy. As a manager, Lillian serves as the link between the graduate school’s management and its employees. She is in charge of overseeing recruitment, employee relations, policy development, payroll, and benefits. Personnel management is a special branch of management that is focus on the concerns of employees at work and their relationship with the organization. Her educational experiences consist of a bachelor degree at UC San Diego in Management Science and a professional Human Resources certificate from UCSD Extension. She has been working in the academic administration for almost ten years and earned her current position as manager through climbing up the ladder. She started off working in this field as a student affairs officer then was promoted to an administrative specialist. Her prior work experience paved a path for her to build up professional experience as well as a solid network within the UCSD administrative system.
Guitar’s name originates from this very event in his childhood. In addition to that fact that Guitar is simply unable to obtain the guitar he desires, Morrison displays the unattainability of the guitar by explaining “It was one of those things where you guess how many beans in the big glass jar and you win a guitar” (45). This game adds an additional barrier between Guitar and the guitar in the store because it makes the guitar appear as a “trophy” to winning the contest. This connects to the idea of contest and athletics as people compete with the attentions of winning or obtaining money, trophies, or pride. Just like how the death of his own father makes him unattainable Guitar choses to go to war with racism.
In this paper, I am going to discuss my experiences playing in the WNE, the bass guitar, and the one and only Willie Nelson. In the legendary WNE, I am the bass player. For this project, it took hours on end of studying the bass inside and out to become this legendary player that I dreamt of before this project. The electric bass, a mystical object that is the foundation of every song, was invented by Paul Tutmarc. Since the 1960s the bass guitar has replaced other instruments

From the moment I heard the majestic scream of Eddie Van Halen’s guitar, I knew I had to learn how to play guitar. I was but only a listener at the time, but the passion of a musician budded within me, and locked my vicarious attention on every note. The more I listened to Van Halen, the more I wanted to stop being a listener, and start being a creator. It was like some insane urge came over me every time I listened to them - telling me to create something. It was a musical high.
As marketing manager, I have been asked to develop a brand extension within Fender, in this case, we have decided to move into percussion
