What is Renaissance?
The Renaissance is a period after the middle ages, it is also the start of the modern world. It was a period of time from the 14th century to the 17th century. The word “Renaissance” means “rebirth”
Where did the Renaissance start?
The Renaissance began in Italy and it was later spread north to Germany and England. It began in Italy because they had the wealth from the commerce of the Middle Ages.

The Renaissance (meaning rebirth) took place in Europe during the period between 14th and 17th century. The epicenter of this movement was Florence, Italy. The Renaissance influenced: the arts, music, literature, politics, religion, technology, and society. The Renaissance was the key in the development of Western Civilization.
