Phase 3 tasks 1 Components of technology systems Questions 1-4 for Group project, part 2:
The five component model of information systems is essential for creating an IT infrastructure that can quickly react to new opportunities and threats companies face over time. What the intent of the five component model centers on is creating a platform that integrates hardware, software, procedures and people to get the most value out of the data produced by IT systems (Kroenke, 2013). The intent of this analysis is to evaluate the five component model and how it forms the foundation of a competitive asset for an enterprise IT strategy.
Strengths of the Coconut Bliss include the excellent quality certified organic products. In addition to this, personal relationships with suppliers, customers, distributers and the staff is an added advantage for Coconut Bliss. Therefore, in the growing market of organic dairy free frozen desserts Coconut Bliss has a substantial opportunity to increase the customer base and market share. However, cost of these products is on a little higher side. In addition to this, there is a threat of people preferring to make organic ice creams at home on their own. In addition to this, Coconut Bliss provides the products to distributors. There is a supply chain which is a costly deal and have it’s share in higher price of products. However, if the high quality products of Coconut Bliss come in affordable prices customers would not go through the hassle to prepare organic ice cream at home. To avoid the cost spent on supply chain, Coconut Bliss can use online order system through website. Therefore, which the use of this new technological advancement, customers can order these products through online shopping. This will save the cost spent on supply chain
Defining the audience is among the most important steps in designing a website because this determines how the layout and the content should be constructed. However, the target audience can be composed of many different groups of consumers, investors, or other interested parties. The example provided uses potential car shoppers to illustrate how different groups can be constructed (Webmonkey Staff, 2010). Some consumers might be ready to purchase a vehicle now and will require different content than others who might be preparing for a possible purchase a few months for now. For example, people who are actively searching for a vehicle to purchase may be looking at cars for sale now at deal sites or through classifieds. While people who are preparing for a purchase down the road may be looking at research about different car models and are probably not as interested in cars for sale today.
The author of this paper focusses on developping a model for computer systems research. He presents data to show that the merit of the paper is dependent on variability between reviewers and is zipf distributed. The author proves, with the help of game theory, that with noisy reviews and zipf merrit, the authors have an incentive to sumit the papers too early and too often which makes the conference reviewing and systems research as a whole less efficient. The popularity of peer to peer systems are reflects its potential to provide scalable performance and high degree of robustness for a variety of applications. This paper focusses on another peer to peer system, the systems research community since there are many similarities between system research community and peer-peer system. They lack central control. Progress occurs through the individual researchers interacting through the conference publication system.
Management is one of the most important human activities and has critical impact on life, growth, development or destruction of an organisation. In an organisation, managers with any rank or status should understand their basic duties i.e. maintaining a sustainable conductive environment where people can fulfil their commitments and objectives through collaborative approach.
