In addition, what steps are being taken to fight back the tendency to manage instead of leading oneself and others? Finally, what resources are you using to provide a basis for leadership growth in your personal as well as professional life.
In this newsletter, we would like to point out the fact that most leaders are actually operating in a role of a manager. In this, they are not taking on new responsibilities as a leader, but instead are attempting to have things remain the same for comfort sake. This is a mistake, which is done by many and

The definition of leadership comes from within each person. Every person has his or her own interpretation of how a leadership should be defined. This definition most likely comes from past experiences under leadership or being the leader. My personal definition is very lengthy because I feel like leadership is very important.
In my four years of highschool I have developed many characteristics that allow me to be a strong leader. I have found that being a leader is something that comes natural to me. I have found my self leading in many different situations. I have been a varsity baseball and football captain for two years. I have had to lead a team, and communicate with teammates and coaches. I know how to collaborate with others to perform well in competition. I take pride in being chosen to be the leader of my teams, I enjoy being a reliable and responsible person for others to count on. Leadership is a great quality no matter who the person.
In the changing business environment, leaders of all organisations may face unprecedented uncertainty, especially the technology advancement and changes among the employees. To survive and succeed, leaders should have some necessary attributes. Meanwhile, some changes for leadership skills have to be made to confront the challenges.
Leaders complain that cutting-edge communication technology often takes away time needed to think and reflect on decisions. At the touch of a finger questions and answers can be sent, reports can be generated and one-on-one communication can be established virtually anywhere in the world. Perhaps what these leaders are really saying is that they are resisting change. Technology is here to stay and leaders have to get on board and become proficient in it’s use because many of the people that are being led are very proficient in the latest I pads, IPods, cell phones, email, Skype, and many other forms of communication. If a leader is being pounded with so many messages that the thought process is being impaired, I suggest turning off your I Pad and taking time out to speak with Jesus, lest we allow anything or anybody to separate us from hearing and understanding what Jesus intends for us to do.
From your perspective, based on the video and articles for this activity, how did GE
Do I possess the traits and behaviors associated with leadership? If not, can I now learn how to be a leader at this stage of my life? What kind of leader am I? Is that the kind of leader I want to be? What do my superiors, co-workers, friends, and family think of my leadership style and ability? Why am I sometimes uncomfortable talking about myself as a leader? Working my way through the text, interviewing colleagues, and checking into other resources, I can form a personal picture and embrace a personal theory about my own leadership style and ability. I may have stirred up more questions than I am able to answer but the process has been a fascinating insight to self-discovery. The end result is a desire to try

The leadership activity I performed for my personal leadership lab was committing myself to personal training. For this Leadership final project, I personally trained two clients, totaling 4.5 hours. I performed these training sessions on the days of February 17, 20, and 24, 2016. I got into personal training around the time of this project’s beginning. My friend Thomas has been a personal trainer on the side for over a year. I have had a little over two years of workout experience, and he introduced me to the personal training class. It is a class that takes only a weekend to complete to become certified. I received one of my clients in inquiry from Thomas, and the other client I found through a craigslist ad. I used these first two clients for my Leadership Lab because I knew there was a lot to learn. Both of these clients are members of the gym I attend called 24hr Fitness. Out of convenience, I trained both clients in this gym.

After conducting some research on leadership, many questions have been brought to my attention. Some questions include the following: What is a leader? Are leaders made or born? What is the difference between leadership and management? What are the theories concerning leadership? Answers to these questions, and many others, should become clear enough at the end of this research.
What is leadership? Leadership or being a leader can be described in many different ways, but overall it means having to capacity to lead. In every business or organization they become effective and remain effective because of their leaders and their ability to inspire and lead. “Leadership has nothing to do with seniority or one’s position in the hierarchy of a company. Too many talk about a company’s leadership referring to the senior most executives in the organization. They are just that, senior executives. Leadership doesn’t automatically happen when you reach a certain pay grade. Hopefully you find it there, but there
