My service is for a bar called “Paradox” and I chose to do this service because I thought it would be the most entertaining. I could use some of my artistic skills on the computer to make it took fantastic. My ad targets social young adults of both genders. The main advertising technique I used was making the bar look fashionable and trendy by using fake statistics and saying that stars come to the bar. In order to grab the readers attention I have used lots of pictures to capture the readers. I used pictures of drinks that look cool and exotic to show that we are not somewhere that people have ever been to before. They will want to come back again and again. I have also used bold wording saying that the stars come to the bar to have a good

There are bodily hygiene advertisements in almost every magazine, TV station, radio station, billboards, and even postal mail. Every one of them is different and is trying to send a different message to a certain group that the product would most likely appeal to. The 0ctober 2011 issue number 1141 of Rolling Stone magazine there is an ad for Old spice men’s soaps, cologne, and deodorant that is a very interesting to the college age kids and music enthusiast that would normally read it. Through the advertisements use of layout and models, Old Spice has effectively caught the eyes of the many people that would stumble across it.

We will start of with the zipline which is actually one of the most elaborate ones in the world. They also have one of the few 4D theaters, which will literally put you on the edge of your seat. And of course the have the famous water park, that includes many different sub activities inside the one activity. Activities are the most common reason for someone to go anywhere and that is kinda the way it is for me, except I also would like to go to get away from my sisters.
Vivid images can be found abundantly throughout the novel and helps to portray scenes to the point where the audience can actually imagine, smell, touch, and hear everything that is going on. “No matter how they scrubbed their hands, the residue of Red Hot Mama had a way of sticking round, as pesty and persistent as a chaperone at a high school dance.” (158). In some instances the audience can acquire a sense, based on the description whether the characters are self absorbed, considerate, or overly concerned about their appearance. “I ought to be shot for looking like this” she’d tell the mirror in the front hall before going out the door. “I look like I’ve been drug through hell backwards,” she would say on and ordinary day. “Like death warmed over. Like something the cat puked up.” (103). The emergence of the images presented in the novel can help present a better understanding and in some cases, a connection to one of the

During the period of the 1920s the “American way of life” was redefined because of the rapid growth of technology. The 20s where a time where the idea of “making things easier” came about in the American society. The mass production of cars made it easier to get around. Telephones, radios, and television made communication easier for the consumer but also the companies putting out products. Washing machines, vacuum cleaners made it less time consuming to do household chores and gave women more time to do other things. The idea of credit made it much easier to obtain these products without having to have the money right away.
This next ad was also found in a CookingLight magazine, whose target audience tends to be health-minded middle ages women. The ad is for Curate, who is trying to sell their Curate fruit bars. This is the first ad throughout this book that will be seen using the technique of glittering generalization, but it also uses weasel words as well.

In the competitive market America has today, all companies strive to be the number one choice for consumers out of all their competitors. To achieve this goal, companies use various strategies in their advertisements to appeal to the public. The company, Donna Karan New York (also known as DKNY) is one of the millions of companies that works rhetorically in its advertisement for its Be Delicious perfume. With sexual innuendos, symbolism, attention grabbing images, the creation an image of beauty, and the indication that one will be unique after using the product, DKNY effectively advertises its Be Delicious perfume.
Next, according to Hand and Middleditch (2013:194), imagery is an significent element in modern media. Media productions need to rely on video and still images to attract their audience’s attention. As for the Gower Birds Hospital, the images and visuals still have some imperfections and need to make changes immediately in order to make customers easier to understand and remember the home page. Hand and Middleditch ( 2013:201) hold the point that most people pay more attention on images than words. There are too many old pictures in the GBH’s graphic design, therefore, we need to add new pictures in new design. The previous text will be

Smoking tobacco has been a part of American culture since its very conception. Throughout our history, tobacco has been advertised as a simple pleasure for those who seek it out. Whether you are sitting on the porch with a couple of friends or in a dimly lit jazz club, tobacco ads give off a false sense of comfort, power, and success. Until around the mid-1900’s, smoking cigarettes was not considered unhealthy. It was only later that the public realize the detrimental health consequences that came with smoking tobacco. To spread this information, specific advertisements were aired to help inform the public of the dangers of smoking. While these ads have changed over time, the same message and warning still remains evident.
