A few things are happening soon and for us to be excited about. One is for this Saturday's picnic we will close at 4:30pm as the email stated yesterday. I do hope to see all of you there to enjoy a nice evening by of the family and shorebirds and of course the food!!! We also will be starting to use ICD-10. This is being used all over. From the billing prospective this is a wonderful way of documenting. When we first start this it may take us a few extra minutes with our time patients that have been here before, however; once we do this we will not have to do it again since the codes will then be ICD-10. More information is coming on this.
CM spoke to Theresa (FSO partner) regarding FSO services for the family. CM informed FSO partner that the family is interested in FSO services and the scheduled 30-Day CFT meeting is on 12/12/16 at 3:30pm in the family’s home. FSO partner reported that she would not be able to attend today’s meeting due to a schedule conflict and I she will try to get someone to cover the meeting.

Roberta, Maria, and Ashanti reported having CTI issues on Friday. Only Ashanti is still having issues. I’ve asked her to create a service ticket. Michelle, advise me that CTI has been running for her every day. She hasn’t had any issues. I’ve asked her to pay more attention to it today. If it stops working, put in a service ticket.

I called G6 again this morning, because I think when they came the last time the problem wasn't explained properly. Last week both Mayumi and Karla told me that the phone was not receiving or making calls, and that the phone with the answering machine wasn't recording. This is the information that I passed on to G6. Based on specified issue, G6 determined that the problem existed within the PBX system as the DSN phone lines were working properly. They were able to make/receive calls while troubleshooting.
There is an interest in the benefits of telecare health care services, especially among patients who require hospice care. It is projected the number of elderly and terminally ill patient will continue to increase in the near future. Telecare is not a new phenomenon in the health care industry, it has evolved into an important aspect of health care and hospice. Thus, some of the important challenges facing the telecare team and the individualized field team included: inadequate knowledge on evidence based practices, lack of professionalism, and poor teamwork. The purpose of this essay is to assess three challenges faced in Telecare and apply my professional growth as it relates to these challenges. As I relate my co-op experience to the RN-BSN program I have noticed significant changes in my behavior and skills after the program. I have enhanced my knowledge on evidence based practices, I conduct myself in a more professional manner, and I have expanded my interpersonal skills to effectively work with interdisciplinary teams.
