In week seven of our Research Methods course we were asked to identify two research firms and essentially do a compare and contrast on them. After listening to the lecture and doing a little review, I identified two main research corporations that interested me enough to do further research. This week my scholarly activity will be written on B2B International Research firm and EFG Worldwide Research firm. The two firms are very unique in the way they collect data using a variety of different tools, however they also acknowledge that research cannot be specified down to one method and may require multiple methods. As we begin to look into the varying tools that each company uses, I will also discuss the effectiveness of those tools.
Beginning with the European Fieldwork Group or EFG Worldwide, they are strategically set up to provide businesses with a one-stop-shop experience which is assisted by the local presence within multiple states. The EFG Worldwide states that they offer the following tools to consumers; quantitative fieldwork to include telephone, face-to-face, online research and mystery shopping. The company also has an expanded qualitative fieldwork group that consists of focus groups, in-depth interviews and even ethnological studies. While EFG tries to help both industry and small
This web assignment will review two research firms and the type of tools they use in their firms as well as determining if those tools are effective as well as does the firm provide a valuable service to its customers. The two firms being reviewed include The NPD Group and Kantar TNS Global, each company was ranked in the top ten market research companies in the AMA Gold Report for 2016 as noted by Bowers & Brereton (2016). These two research firms are globally accomplished, have collectively helped thousands of clients succeed using their innovative techniques in a tailored program for each company they serve as well as being able to evolve in an ever changing research environment.

I have outlined some of the requirements below. For more detailed information on specific requirements, visit Google Scholars website at http://www.google.com/intl/en/scholar/inclusion.html#overview.
Business research is a methodical process in which a company or manager recognizes a need for data in order to make effective business making decisions. “More specifically, it is a process of planning, acquiring, analyzing, and Disseminating relevant data, information, and insights to decisions makers in ways that mobilize the organization to take appropriate actions that, in turn, maximize performance” (Cooper and Schindler, 2011, p. 10).

A research decision involves the application of a design in which the research will be developed. During the application of this design, the worldview assumptions must be taken into consideration to enhance the study from different perspectives. Research design, which Creswell refers to as the plan or proposal to conduct research, “involves the intersection of philosophy, strategies of inquiry, and specific methods” (Creswell, 2009, p. 5). This study must imply the assumptions in which this research will make about how to obtain and gain knowledge and reality about this business phenomenon. Even though these philosophical worldviews remain for the most part unseen and form only one portion of the research design, they have great
My research methodology requires gathering relevant information from specified data and collecting databases in order to analyze the company's structure, market analysis, competitor analysis, etc.,I also using secondary data and research , including articles, academic journals, information from reliable websites. My research site is based on information that is used to support my international plan for Golden north company.
Internet research not only supported the interviews but also provided excellent information to supplement the research. However, there were downsides to the internet research as some sources appeared to be contradictory. While extensive research further clarified the best approach to business establishment, there were instances where I had to make a decision between the advices of two sources which directly opposed each other’s viewpoint.
Prior to my interview with Dr. Lisa Calvano, I did not have the impression that research was involved in any part of business management. After meeting with her, I learned exactly how important research is to the business management discipline. Research in business management is a systematic investigation that helps to answer complications and problems within businesses. Research in the field contributes to solid management understanding and knowledge. Information from research is usually produced by classical methods: statistical data and analysis, interview data, and survey data (i.e., stock prices). Researchers, especially in business management must be careful to declare their research findings as credible.
Introduction In this project I will undertake extensive research into a large sized business. I have previously chosen the company Avon. My research will involve the collection of both primary and secondary data. I will compete the report, which will include: * Brief background information about the business and what it does
