Self-evaluation Questions (these are slightly different from the ones in the syllabus) 1) How have the discussions about the many aspects of global justice helped you to develop your opinions on this topic? I honestly feel like classes like this should be offered more. Without the need for tests, and being able to express ourselves in an open environment and allowing us to have artistic freedom, I feel like has helped me learn the content deeper and given me much more satisfaction. And with the many different topics being covered I feel like I can learn all the sides of the argument being given, making me a more well-rounded and knowledgeable person. Our two potential groups right now are the Humane Society and Sierra Club, who we are hoping to connect with to create a project for Meatless Mondays and stopping the wall being created from Trump to stop the potential environmental dangers and implications from happening. We were thinking about proposing to the groups about creating a mural or interaction piece where you interact with multiple rooms to get the full spectrum of the implications of meat and the harm it has on not only the environment but our bodies as well; and creating a wall around Point Defiance Zoo to make a public statement about how the wall and animals/ environment interact and not allowing people to pass the wall without some form of common items that people don’t normally carry. We are hoping more to connect with the Humane Society for Meatless Mondays, but its hard because we haven’t gotten back any responses from either group.
