The Mentor and a Mentee
1.When I was told that we would be writing stories about a life changing relationship a handful of people came to mind.
2.Out of those handful I realized that I came up with either friends or family members.
3.Even though there is nothing wrong with this I wanted to dig deeper; to think about someone who I might have overlooked.
4.My flute teacher, Mrs. Droste, is a lady of silent integrity and that’s why I decided to choose her. 5.Before you read my three stories I find it necessary to tell you a bit about Mrs. Droste as a person.
6.Not only is Mrs. Droste wise, she is also hilarious.
7.She may be older, but she definitely can carry an interesting conversation.
8.I have and always will have respect for her.
9.She never complains about anything, and always tries to find the bright side of things.
10.In the time that I’ve know her, I have been gifted so many life lessons and stories to tell.
11.Three of the most important things that this amazing woman reinforced in me was patience, curiosity, and perseverance.
12.Overall, I would say that a woman who is worth so much is undoubtedly worth writing about.
13.Frustration, this was the first emotion that I felt when I began to play the flute.
14.Looking back, I can admit that I was an easily agitated 5th grader.
15. I seemed to completely lack the crucial attribute of patience.
