Armed conflicts have existed since humans and weapons. The poorest and the weakest, the richest and the strongest, as long as a country's people are nationalistic they will engage in armed conflicts. The effects of war for nationalism result in prejudice, death, and destruction. The most significant armed are World War I and World War II. They were total wars because all the people of the world were involved. They began because of political unrest, longing for power, and alliances. They had devastating effects on the world such as mass death, destabilization of governments, and (specific to WWII) genocide.

Initially, World War I was spurred by the assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand of Austria on June 28th of 1914
The First World War started off with a “BANG” literal. WWI started on June 28, 1914 with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and wife Sophie. Many major events follow within the years of 1914-1918. July 28, 1914 Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia, August 1, 1914 Germany declares war on Russia, August 3,
A state of isolationism was a goal too great for America to handle. America and its leaders had sought to stay out of both World War I and World War II only to be pulled in by intense happenings that inflicted chaos on the nations people. World War II would be a time in American history that would bring many fresh war tactics and developments, that helped to pull a depraved nation from the depths of a depression as well as pledge the freedom and prosperity of its opposing nations. Dangerous discoveries will be made in the world would be left to be governed by two world powers.
Throughout history the United States has been involved in many different wars. Their involvement has brought forth many significant events and changes that have affected the American way of life. I will briefly discuss the events and the United States involvement in World War I and World War II. I will give a brief overview of both wars and explain exactly how and why the United States joined in each.
Dwight D. Eisenhower once said, “We are going to have peace even if we have to fight for it.” This quote is an accurate description of the mindset during both World War 1 and World War 2. There are many aspects of war that can be compared and contrasted. I am going to compare and contrast World War 1 and World War 2. I will explain how they started, what happened or changed during both, and how they ended.
World War I, also known as the Great War, was one of the most important and traumatic war in history. It left many countries in devastation and chaos. Countries involved in the war, like Europe and America promised to prevent any other future world war because of the millions lives taken and the destruction caused to the world in the previous war. However, peace was not enjoyed for long and after two decades, the Second World War began from the issues that were left unresolved from the previous conflict. There was not one specific factor that started World War II, but many causes of which two of those were the economic instability of Germany and the resentment of Italy and Japan over the Versailles Treaty that was put forth after World War I. World War II was the second most destructive and disturbing war in history that lasted for six years and resulted in tremendous casualties.
The Immediate cause of the war was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The Archduke and his wife sophie were both shot by a Bosnian Serb Nationalist during a visit to the Bosnian Capital of Sarajevo. The killings sparked the outbreak of WWI by early August. Five years after the death of the Archduke, Germany and the allied powers signed the Treaty of Versailles, which marked the end of the war. The Archduke went to sarajevo to inspect the imperial armed forces in Herzegovina
During World War I and World War II life back home changed excessively. When the soldiers went to fight in World War 1 and World War 2, women and children had to replace men in the workforce. There was an increase in those affected by the trauma of the wars, and the birth-rates dropped during this time.
World War I began July 28, 1914 and lasted until November 11, 1918. The main trigger of World War I was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. He was the heir to the throne of Austro-Hungarian Empire. The archduke and his wife came to visit the state of Bosnia, which was a Austrian Providence. But during their visit shots were fired. And eventually after that happened the archduke and his wife died. With this all happening it did demolished
One of the earliest recorded feats of corruption in history was carried out by Roman Emperor Nero, whose rule is often associated with corruption and arrogance, as many historians have found evidence that Nero built theaters in his own honor and even assassinated many people, including his mother and step-brother. In the post- World War I and World War II era, Joseph Stalin of Soviet Russia led a dictatorship that would last 24 years, ending in his own death. Although the country as a whole benefited from his reign, Stalin ruled with an iron fist, using facilitated propaganda and often ordering the executions of any political rivals. In 1945, author George Orwell created a book that used satire to mock Stalin’s rule by creating a character that resembled him called Napoleon. In order to stay in power, however, Napoleon needed to use Stalinist methods to assert control. Much like Joseph Stalin, Napoleon use propaganda and fear to dominate the political component of Animal Farm.
