It is given that, on a sunny day, Jason measures the length of his shadow and the length of a tree’s shadow.

  

In the given question, it can be seen that the ratio of Jason’s shadow and shadow of the tree is equal to height of Jason and height of the tree. It means that they are similar,

So, the ratio of their corresponding sides is equal,

Finding ‘height of the tree’

  $\begin{array}{l}\frac{\text{hieght of tree}}{\text{height of Jason}}=\frac{\text{length of tree's shadow}}{\text{length of Jason shadow}}\\ \frac{\text{height of tree}}{1.5}=\frac{7.5}{2.5}\\ \text{height of tree}=3\times 1.5\\ \text{height of tree}=4.5m\end{array}$
