The reason for the fact that the development of the coding system is important for the development of life is to be given.

The RNA became genetically as well as metabolically active in order to create living organisms.

All living organisms contain genetic material, which has the capability to store information.

In higher organisms, the genetic material is DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), while in most of the viruses, the genetic material is RNA.

Explanation of Solution

Life sustained on Earth because of the presence of the nucleic acids, which have the capability to store information and pass it to the next generation. The information is passed to the next generation because of the ability of nucleic acids to act as codes. The DNA acts as the eugenic material in most of the living organisms, and contains four types of nucleotides as the information codes. The four types of nucleotides are categorized as purines and pyrimidines. The purines are Adenine (A) and guanine (G), and the pyrimidines are cytosine (C) and thymine (T).
