Define the term Replication and Pseudoscience
Answer to Problem 1E
Solution:
Replication is used in order to cheak the correctness of the answers. Psuedoscience is a blind belief of unscientific facts as scientific.
Explanation of Solution
Replication:
In scientific experiment behavior, a procedure is done repeatedly in order to attain accurate results. When a single procedure is done many times and the result is same then the scientist confirms that their study is correct. And it is also done to determine the original study can be applied to another research procedure.
Pseudoscience:
It deals with unscientific facts mistakenly considered as scientific. This is because there is no strong evidence to prove that it is wrong or no proper experiment was done on it to prove it is scientifically wrong. For example, in 2012 it is believed that the whole world is going to end, but it's not the actual fact.
Conclusion:
Replication is used to check the accuracy of the findings. And pseudoscience is unproven scientific facts.
