To determine:
The way by which, internal control of mechanisms allows for an organism’s systems to remain in balance.
Introduction:
Each and every living being responds to something going on in the environment. Living beings respond to change in heat, amount of light, amount of sound, and pressure in the environment. The ways by which an organism receives this information are eyes, ears, tongue, and skin.
Explanation of Solution
Homeostasis is the mechanism by which the internal of an organism remains in balance with respect to the changes in the environment. If homeostasis in a body is working properly, then only a living being can survive on this planet. The stability attained by the homeostasis is because of dynamic equilibrium, where uniformity is maintained in the body, despite of the changes in the environment.
