Which of the following statements is true of inertia?a) Inertia is a force which keeps stationary objects at rest and moving objects in motion at constant velocity. b) Fast-moving objects have more inertia than slow-moving objects. c) Inertia is the tendency of all objects to resist motion and ultimately stop. d) A more massive object has more inertia than a less massive object. e) An object would not have any inertia in a gravity-free environment
Inertia by definition is the propter of things to resist changes in motion. This quantity is directly related to an object’s mass, or how much of ‘something’ and object is made of. Therefore, could Inertia change if your object were to travel into space? Could it change if your object was on the moon? If not, explain how you could change an object’s inertia.
