Question
Chapter 10, Problem 6CP
Summary Introduction
 To review:
The following:
1. The stimulation of olfactory receptors by odorant molecules.
2. The reason behind the keen sense of smell.
 Introduction:
The sense of smell takes place due to the olfactory bulb that is present in the nose. The olfactory epithelium has olfactory sensory neurons, basal stem cells, and supporting epithelial cells to help detect different odors. There is a direct connection between the sensory neurons and the regions of the brain to speed up odor detection.
