Bacteria can be used for the expression of the desired genes. But there will be some difficulties faced for the expression of the eukaryotic gene in prokaryotes because of the absence of post-transcriptional and translational modifications, and also their inclusion body formation leads to inactivation of proteins in the prokaryotes unlike the eukaryotes.
