Question
Chapter 10, Problem 8CRCAQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The increase of muscle strength with weight training.
Introduction:
The diameter and strength of muscle fibers can be increased through weight training. In response to mechanical stress, the satellite cells differentiate into myoblast that fuses with muscle fibers to provide additional nuclei for the synthesis of large amount of contractile proteins, myofilaments, and myofibrils.
