Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Thrombocytopenia is a disease characterized by spontaneous bleeding occurring from small blood vessels even in the normal movement of the body. This disorder occurs due to lack of sufficient platelets in the blood. The decrease in the number of platelets (or thrombocytes) can be due to the bone marrow cancer, radiation, and some drug that suppress the bone marrow.
