Introduction:
The fidelity of DNA polymerase I mean how accurately it can replicate DNA from the parent template. In order to maintain the cellular function and survival, it is important for the DNA pol I replicate cellular DNA accurately. Kornberg in 1957 discovered and isolated DNA polymerase I and explained its functions.
