Interpretation:

The area in which inhibition of angiotensin-converting enzyme by the medication lisinopril is useful has to be predicted.

Concept Introduction:

Angiotensin is an octapeptide which is involved in the regulation of blood pressure.  Untill needed, it is present in an inactive form as the zymogen angiotensinogen.  Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) converts the inactive zymogen to the active octapeptide form (angiotensin).
