Some of the ways people misuse Power Point and its potential consequences
Case Summary: The use of Power Point presentations has a considerable potential for encouraging more of professionalism in presenting information. This case study highlights some of the advantages and disadvantages associated with the use of Power Point presentations and suggest some strategies and guidelines that need to be considered where ever it is used. It suggests some of the approaches and strategies that must be incorporated in the organizations and at the same time summarize some of the important principles of presentation that are mostly ignored.
Interpretation: Ways to design a bad presentation that is there are ways to misuse visuals, Text, Animation etc. in a Power Point presentation. An ineffectively and poorly created power point presentation can have an opposite (negative) effect, making your audience apathetic, confused and frustrated with the topic of the presentation.
Adequate Information: About 350 Power Point presentations are given worldwide every second. Flooding the audiences with stark phrases, over designing the presentation can undermine the intended message of the presentation.
