Explanation of Solution
The health of an individual is affected by both what he or she eats and how much they eat. The example is that if we intake excessive food, obesity will occur and excessive in-take of carbohydrates and fats is not a good choice.
The food choices that we are taking have an effect on the ecosystem too. The example is that the in-take of beef that is corn-fed and then sent to slaughter will lead to degradation of the land and also have an adverse effect on the water sources.
Also if the food production increases, the quality of the water will get reduced due to different reasons. It is because the aquifers get depleted due to the water needed for irrigation which causes more salty water to seep in.
Therefore, the food we eat not only affects your health, but also the health of the planet.
