Neuromuscular blocking drugs are high alert drugs because improper use of this drugs leads to death or injury. Administration of these drugs without placing proper ventilation leads to the death of the patients. Neuromuscular blocking agents interfere with the transmission of acetylcholine during transmission of nerve impulses.
