The length of the rectangle is 20 units .

Explanation of Solution

Given information :

It’s given that the area of the rectangle is 280 units and breadth, that is width is 14 units.

  $\text{Area}\text{of}\text{a}\text{rectangle}\text{=}\text{length}\times \text{breadth}$..........(1)

Therefore by substituting the area and breadth in equation (1), we get,

  $280=length\times 14$

  $length=\frac{280}{14}=20$

The length of the rectangle is 20 units.
