Boyle’s law, volume of a given amount of a gas at constant temperature is inversely proportional to the pressure of a gas.
When Scuba divers ascend to the surface, there occurs a decrease in pressure by 1 atm for the ascend height of 10 m. According to Boyle’s law, the volume of air containing in the lungs of diver tends to increase simultaneously.
Scuba divers use the pressure regulator to deliver the air at a certain pressure.
