Logic example question
If I have (∀ y)(P(y) → P(b))
Would an example of this being true be for all real numbers greater than 0 - y is evenly divisible by 9 and b is evenly divisible by 3
The false interpretation would be for P(b) to be true whether x is true or not. I cannot think of a domain and conditions where this could be true. I was hoping you could help me get unstuck.

Investing in stocks is a way to create assets that are supposed to provide financial security over time. In solving this problem, we assume that an investor buys several shares of stock at a certain price. These shares are going to be sold later on for a different price. Obviously, if the selling price is higher than the acquisition price, the investor makes a profit, registering capital gain. If the shares are sold at a lower price, the investor has a loss, which marks a negative capital gain.
This whole process is done over a period of time, and you are required to create a scenario for buying and selling shares. The assumption is that the investor sells shares in the order in which they were purchased.
The goal is to calculate the capital gain over time.
Suppose that you buy n shares of stock or mutual fund for d dollars each. Later, you sell some of these shares. If the sale price exceeds the purchase price, you have made a profit—a capital gain. On the other…

Arbitrage can become a source of gain when applied to currency exchanges. Consider the fol- lowing currency exchange ratios as an example: 1 U.S. dollar buys 0.7292 euros, 1 euro buys 105.374 Japanese yen, 1 Japanese yen buys 0.3931 Russian rubles, 1 Russian ruble buys 0.0341 U.S. dollars. Then you could take 1 U.S. dollar and buy 0.7292 euros with it, with which you can buy 76.8387 yen (because 0.7292 * 105.374 = 76.8387). Then take the 76.8387 yen and buy 30.2053 rubles (because 76.8387 * 0.3931 = 30.2053), and finally take the 30.2053 rubles and buy 1.03 dollars (because 30.2053 * 0.0341 = 1.0300). Let us suppose that (d1, d2, d3, …dn) are the deadlines in units of times to complete the jobs and (p1, p2, p3, …pn) are the profits earned if the jobs are processed within the deadline. The objective is obviously to select those jobs and complete them within their deadlines so that maximum profit is earned.Design a greedy method to obtain the optimal sequence of jobs that will earnmaximum profits. Demonstrate it on the case where there are four jobs, with n = 4,deadlines given by (d1 = 2, d2 = 1, d3 = 3, d4 = 1) and profits earned as (p1 = 100,p2 = 20, p3 = 50, p4 = 40).arrow_forward

- [Medium] Suppose, you have been given a non-negative integer which is the height of a ‘house of cards’. To build such a house you at-least require 8 cards. To increase the level (or height) of that house, you would require four sides and a base for each level. Therefore, for the top level, you would require 8 cards and for each of the rest of the levels below you would require 5 extra cards. If you were asked to build level one only, you would require just 8 cards. Of course, the input can be zero; in that case, you do not build a house at all. Complete the recursive method below to calculate the number of cards required to build a ‘house of cards’ of specific height given by the parameter. public int hocBuilder (int height){ // TO DO } OR def hocBuilder(height):arrow_forwardplease answer with proper explanation and step by step solution. plz type your answer not handwritten. i will give upvote.arrow_forwardCorrect answer will be upvoted else downvoted. Computer science. You are given a grid a comprising of positive integers. It has n lines and m segments. Develop a framework b comprising of positive integers. It ought to have a similar size as a, and the accompanying conditions ought to be met: 1≤bi,j≤106; bi,j is a various of ai,j; the outright worth of the contrast between numbers in any nearby pair of cells (two cells that share a similar side) in b is equivalent to k4 for some integer k≥1 (k isn't really something similar for all sets, it is own for each pair). We can show that the appropriate response consistently exists. Input The primary line contains two integers n and m (2≤n,m≤500). Every one of the accompanying n lines contains m integers. The j-th integer in the I-th line is ai,j (1≤ai,j≤16). Output The output ought to contain n lines each containing m integers. The j-th integer in the I-th line ought to be bi,j.arrow_forward
