Introduction:

The lymph nodes are the sites in the lymphatic system where the cells of the immune system are presentmajorly. They act as filters removing the tumor cells, viruses, bacteria and foreign particles. The entire lymph is returned to the venous system ultimately through either of the two large ducts namely the right lymphatic duct and the thoracic duct.
