Concept introduction:
The benzodiazepines are otherwise called as benzos. The function of the benzodiazepines is increasing the effect of neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid. The nonbenzodiazepines are similar to the benzodiazepine. It is also used as the central nervous system depressant drug. The drug used as the skeletal muscle relaxant is called the muscle relaxant. Muscle relaxant takes action on the central nervous system to relax. The miscellaneous drugs are used for treating insomnia and it is not involved in the central nervous system depression
