Chapter 12.3, Problem 10BYGO
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
An axon or nerve fiber is a thin, lengthy projection of a nerve cell that conducts electrical impulses. The nerve fibers present in the peripheral nervous system (PNS) are peripheral nerve fibers, which are vulnerable to injuries, cut, and other traumas. These nerve fibers can regenerate, if its soma is near and if some neurilemma available.
