Chapter 13, Problem 30E
To determine

To write:

The following function playsoundbelow plays one of the built-in sounds. The function has a cell array that stores the names. When the function is called, an integer is passed, which is an index into this cell array indicating the sound to be played. The default is ‘train’, so if the user passes an invalid index, the default is used. The appropriate MAT-file is loaded. If the user passes a second argument, it is the frequency at which the sound should be played (otherwise, the default frequency is used). The function prints what sound is about to be played and at which frequency, and then actually plays this sound.

Consider the function that assigns each positive integer to its FIRST (leading) digit. (For example, the positive integer 517 gets assigned to 5).  In Blank 1: What is the domain of this function?  In Blank 2: What is the range of this function? (note I am not asking for the co-domain here) Please use either the roster method or set-builder notation for your response. In Blank 3: Is this function injective? (yes or no)
Show the function can be defined in terms of ƒ.Arithmetic mean: ƒ(0) =(a + b)/2
Determine with reason whether the given arithmetic function is completely manipulative.  f(n) = n^3
