Summary Introduction

To analyze:

The condition of the patient Colleen who fell down from the stairs and bumps her head several times. The diagnosis revealed an epidural hematoma in the temporoparietal area and the hematoma is pressing against the brainstem.

Introduction:

The injury caused in the brain of Colleen after falling down from the stairs is several bumping in her head. The diagnosis and scanning revealed the formation of epidural hematoma in the temporoparietal area. The injury causes damage to the arteries and veins causing an obstruction on the flow of blood. The blood reaches epidural space after crossing the blood-brain-barrier, due to increase in the pressure inside the skull.
