Let's consider a perfect solenoid: radius R and infinite length. A current I flows through it. Assuming that B is zero outside the solenoid of the solenoid (true if L tends to infinity...!) use Ampère's law to calculate to calculate B inside the solenoid.
Consider an ideal solenoid X that carries a current 2I. Another solenoid is wrapped around solenoid X resulting to a mutual inductance of 2M . If the current in X is halved, what is the resulting mutual inductance?
