Chapter 14.6, Problem 1CYL
Summary Introduction
To explain:
The medical usefulness in understanding the human genome.
Introduction:
The Human Genome Project and the ongoing research have determined that the human genome contains about twenty thousand genes, comprising approximately 2% of our DNA. Some of the other 98% consists of promoters, regions that regulate how often genes are transcribed, and noncoding RNA. It is very important to understand the human genome as it has an enormous impact on medical practices.
