Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Urine is the term given to the by-product of the metabolic activities in humans and a number of animals. It flows through the kidneys into ureters and finally into the urinary bladder. It is excreted from the body via the urethra and the process is known as urination. The major constituent of urine is water. Other constituents may vary. The specific gravity of the urine, which is the comparison of the heaviness of urine with distilled water, is also affected by many factors.
