Question
Chapter 15, Problem 9WIO
Summary Introduction
To determine:
In what way a scientist would respond to a question about whether humans “evolved from monkeys”.
Concept introduction:
There is a general misconception that humans evolved from monkeys. This misconception is due to the fact that people think evolution as a linear process. It is in fact branching process where one species can give rise to two or more species. The species can further split into two or more species. Some species become extinct while some survive in the course of evolution.
