Question
Chapter 15.3, Problem 3AYLO
Summary Introduction
To discuss:
What nicotinic and muscarinic receptors have in common, how they differ, and where they occur in the ANS.
Introduction:
The autonomic nervous system and its nerve fibers use to synthesize two different types of neurotransmitter class namely Acetylcholine and Norepinephrine. Acetylcholine is a cholinergic and the receptor that synthesizes that are bound to the nerve are said to be cholinergic nerve fibers and cholinergic receptors. This cholinergic receptor and its detailed classification and properties are discussed herein.
