Concept explainers
Interpretation: The decreasing order of concentration of all the ionic and molecular species in the given acidic solutions has to be listed.
Concept Introduction:
A molecule donate
A strong acid will give weak conjugate base, similarly weak acid will give strong conjugate base.
Concentration and strength of the chemical species will be directly proportional to each other.
The stronger chemical species such as stronger acid or base and stronger conjugate acid or base will be more stable chemical species such that they will be readily formed and thus will be in increased concentrations.
In contrast, the weaker chemical species such as weaker acid or base and weaker conjugate acid or base will be less stable chemical species such that they will not be readily formed and thus will be in decreased concentrations.
