Summary Introduction

Probing question or follow-up questions are used when the staff nurse did not fully understand the answers of a patient. The patient-centered interview is ultimately carried out for the assessment of patient-centered care. There are various types of question that are used during an interview of a patient. Some examples are open-ended question, closed-ended questions, probing questions, problem-oriented questions, and confirmation questions.
