Question
Chapter 16, Problem 8TOF
Summary Introduction
To Determine:
If the given statement is true or false.
Introduction:
The parasympathetic nervous system and sympathetic nervous system are the types of the autonomic nervous system. The purpose of the autonomic nervous system is to regulate a body's unconscious actions. The parasympathetic system functions to regulate the body actions that occur at rest, basically after eating. The sympathetic nervous system prepares the body during stress conditions, that is, flight or fight situation.
